Come along to ride our super kind horses, brush up on your riding technique or learn from scratch (no, you don’t have to trot!), these sessions give adults (18 years+) the opportunity to ride out together under the supervision of Calvert’s instructors, enjoy time in the fresh air with like-minded horse-lovers as well as benefit from the calming effect that ponies can have, all helping to improve wellbeing. Followed by a cup of tea, company and conversation.

• As well as having a ride you will learn about taking care of your pony’s needs.

Each session will include one of the following pony Care Topics:

• How to groom your pony, to include learning all the different brushes and their uses.
• Tacking up and learning different parts of the tack
• Parts of the pony
• How to lead and handle you pony
• Pony First Aid
• What to feed your pony
• Checking fields are safe.
