Emily joined the board as a trustee in November 2021. With over 20 years’ service in the military, she brings a wide spectrum of experience in leadership, digital optimisation, operations and risk management.
A keen mountaineer, she has climbed all over the world and has served as a member of the RAF’s Mountain Rescue Service. Introduced to mountaineering and outdoor education during initial military training, she is a huge advocate for the benefits that outdoor pursuits can offer and this was her motivation to volunteer as a trustee for the Lake District Calvert Trust.
