Boat-based team building challenges

Team building boat challenges

Boats is a fun and engaging team challenge set on the picturesque waters of Bassenthwaite Lake. Designed to encourage teamwork, communication and creativity, this unique activity sees groups working together to complete the challenge. Construct your own Canadian canoe-style raft before putting it to the test in a lively race across the lake, or head out on our Boats treasure hunt.

Success depends on more than simply staying afloat. Teams must combine practical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration as they plan, build and launch their crafts. Along the way, participants will face unexpected challenges, plenty of laughter and a healthy dose of friendly competition, making this an ideal activity for corporate away days, team-building events and group visits.

Whether racing for victory or simply trying to keep dry, Boats offers a memorable shared experience that brings people together in a relaxed outdoor environment. Surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Lake District, teams leave with stronger connections, improved communication skills and a real sense of achievement – as well as a few stories to tell long after the final paddle to shore.

Who is this team building challenge suitable for?

This challenge is suitable for people of all abilities. Those who can’t hold a paddle themselves will still enjoy the sensations of being on the water and the camaraderie of shared achievements.
