Whatever your experience or ability, learn to ride or build on existing skills at Calvert Stables on the outskirts of Keswick. We’re now taking bookings for Autumn 2024 / Spring 2025.
Calvert Stables is both British Horse Society approved and Riding for the Disabled accredited – we welcome all. Meet our herd of well-trained, super gentle ponies looked after by our dedicated team of riding instructors and volunteers.
With both indoor and outdoor arenas, we operate year round, whatever the weather. Blessed by our location, we can also ‘hack out’ and help you with fell-riding as well as all-important Road Safety
NEED TO KNOW
- Max 4 participants in each group
- We teach Tuesday to Sunday all year round
- After-school slots available
- Work towards BHS ‘Pony Stars’ Certificates
- Weight limit applies (riders must be 12 stone and under)
HOW TO BOOK
- Block book six lessons for best value.
- We’ll get in touch direct once we’ve received payment to arrange convenient dates
- All lessons must be taken within 6 months of payment
