Before working at The Lake District Calvert Trust, I worked in the RAF as a HR Manager for 25 years, in a range of HR specialisations, both in the UK and overseas. It was here I completed a level 7 Diploma in HR Management.
Upon leaving the RAF, I wanted to work for an organisation that makes a difference in people’s lives, with strong values and care about their people and in January 2022 I joined The Lake District Calvert Trust.
I have experience in all types of People Matters, recruitment, onboarding, employee life cycle, supporting line managers, workforce development. I love the diversity of my role and that due to the size of Calvert I know everyone within the team.
I live in Appleby with my husband, Gordon and dog, Jess. We love the outdoors and can be often found walking in the Lakes District or Pennines.
