Your stay, your way
Our bespoke group stays are perfect for groups of friends or large families. If your group has 12 people or more, we’ll create a personalised activity break just for you. You’ll have the freedom to choose your activities, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Join us for a midweek break Monday – Friday or if a weekend stay is more your vibe, then arrive on a Friday for 3 nights with your favourites. Only one of the group needs a disability for everyone to benefit from the amazing accessible and inclusive activities, accommodation and facilities we have here at our special centre. Don’t just take our word for it – check out our short video below!
Calvert Lakes exists so people with disabilities can experience exciting adventures alongside their tribe.
Only one member of your family or group needs to have a disability for you all to enjoy a stay with us.
We promise that no one is left behind here!
Challenging disability through outdoor adventure is at the heart of what we do. Guests are invited to try new activities, meet new people and push boundaries to experience ambition and achievement. Building confidence, resilience and independence occurs naturally here as we encourage people to challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment.

All of our rooms accommodate a minimum of two guests and are equipped with fully accessible ensuite bathrooms. We have profiling or raisable beds, with and without sides, to support individual comfort and care needs.
We also provide additional accessibility equipment on request to ensure every guests requirements are met.
Groups can have their own exclusive corridor or building, which can be securely locked, if required, offering added privacy, supporting safeguarding measures and providing peace of mind.
All food is prepared on site by our team of chefs, and where possible using locally sourced produce from local suppliers. Our dining room is a communal space where you will have your own tables for your group with breakfast and evening meals at set times. Our chefs ensure your dietary requirements are met whether blending, allergies or intolerances.
Every day starts with a cooked breakfast plus toast, cereal and hot drinks.
For lunch, there’s soup, sandwiches, crisps, fruit and tray bakes. We also provide packed lunches to help you make the most of your time outdoors.
In the evenings enjoy a hearty 3 course meal with a choice of salad or soup to start, a selection of mains and tempting desserts. Hot drinks are available all day and there’s a fridge to store your own snacks.

Yes! Once you’ve booked your dates and rooms, our activities coordinator will help you plan the perfect stay. They’ll take you through the different activities, which might be best for your group and how these can be adapted to your requirements.
Bespoke group stays are priced based on the time of year you visit and the size of your group. Our prices include all accommodation, full board meals and all your activities. Get in touch with our friendly bookings team to talk more about your stay and how much it might cost.
We’re committed to making our activity breaks accessible to as many people as possible, which is why limited bursary funding is available to help reduce the cost. Because our funding is often restricted, we prioritise those who’d most benefit from financial assistance. While we cannot guarantee support for every enquiry, we encourage anyone facing financial barriers to get in touch. Our team is here to guide you through the process and help you explore the options available.
