Hannah Richardson

I moved to Keswick in September 2022, where my husband BJ (Bart-Jan) and I own and run Woodside B&B. I came with the ambition to get involved in the community and bring my experience in the charity sector to a local cause, and the Lake District Calvert Trust feels like a great fit. As well as joining the Board in April 2023, I was also invited to be Chair of the Friends of the Calvert Trust, and I am loving working with the enthusiastic members of our committee.  

I bring a specialism in fundraising, having spent my career working at international, national and local organisations. I have experience of sitting around the Board table, both through working in senior fundraising roles, and serving terms as a Trustee at a small brain tumour charity and at a hospice.

In between working to ensure our B&B guests have a magical time in this beautiful part of the world, I can be found wandering the fells and dales, swimming, and enjoying the local theatre and cinema!
