With the summer holidays fast approaching, Calvert Stables has launched a programme of activities for children aged 12 years and under.
Calvert Stables’ Kids Club Summer 2023 will start on Friday 28 July 2023 and run on a weekly basis until the end of August.
Each session is 2 hours long. As well as riding a pony, children will learn about taking care of all their pony’s needs. Sessions will cover a range of topics including how to groom a pony, tacking up, how to lead and handle a pony, first aid and what ponies like to eat.
“We are thrilled to our summer kids club,” said Henri Carew, Stables Manager at Calvert Stables. “We have put together a fun programme in which children can enjoy riding a pony while also learning about how to take care of them.”
The cost per session, per child is £36.75 and the clubs will run on the following dates:
Fri 28th July 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Tues 1st Aug 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Fri 11th Aug 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Fri 18th Aug 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Tues 22nd Aug 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Tues 29th Aug 1.30pm – 3.30pm
