We need your help
One of the simplest ways to support the Lake District Calvert Trust is through donations. The money you donate goes towards improving access to adventure experiences for people with disabilities. Living with disability is expensive. So we help subsidise the cost of residential breaks using the generous donations of our supporters through our Enabling Adventure fund and related initiatives.
As a registered charity, fundraising makes up one third of our total income. Whether making a one-off donation or through regular monthly giving, your support not only makes it easier for people to access life-changing experiences, but it also helps pay for essential equipment and developing new activities.
We rely on the kind support of our donors and can’t offer incredible adventures without you.
- £10 a month will sponsor a pony at Calvert Stables
- £100 goes towards new buoyancy aids or adaptive seating for our boats
- £5,000 will fund an all-terrain wheelchair for our guests to use
- £25 a month supplies us with flints, bows & arrows for archery & bushcraft
- £300 funds a special harness for climbing & abseiling
- £10,000 will support the ongoing care & welfare of our ponies
- £50 helps us replace worn wellies for muddy activities
- £1,000 enables us to invest in a profiling bed for less ambulant guests
- £25,000 will allow us to adapt a new sailing dingy, making it more inclusive
