Calvert Stables is both British Horse Society approved and Riding for the Disabled accredited – we welcome all. Meet our herd of well-trained, super gentle ponies looked after by our dedicated team of riding instructors and volunteers.
With both indoor and outdoor arenas, we operate year round, whatever the weather. Blessed by our location, we can also ‘hack out’ and help you with fell-riding as well as all-important Road Safety

Block book six lessons below for best value. We’ll get in touch direct once we’ve received payment to arrange convenient dates – all lessons must be taken within 6 months of payment
Do you qualify for financial support?
At Calvert Lakes, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joys of outdoor adventure. We also understand that the cost of a residential stay can be a barrier. Thanks to the hard work of our fundraising team, we have regular releases of bursary funding that can further help support your residential stay with us.
