Multi-activity adventure breaks
Enjoy a weekend (three night), mid-week (four night) or full week (seven nights) break with the family and take in the gorgeous surroundings of Keswick and the northern Lake District. All of our breaks include two activities per day. As leaders in accessible outdoor adventure, there’s a plethora of challenging, accessible outdoor (and indoor – depending on the weather!) fun plus – why not visit one of our partners and try out a Theatre by the Lake drama workshop or a wildlife encounter with the Lake District Wildlife Park just a short drive away.

Our multi-activity adventures are great for families, adults and groups who want to try as many activities as possible during their stay.
How many people are in an activity group?
We organise families and adults into activity groups of no more than 12 people, less if there are wheelchair users participating.
What activities do you offer?
We offer tons of different adventure activities on site at Calvert Lakes, at Calvert Stables, from our boathouse on Bassenthwaite Lake and into the wider Lake District National Park. Find out more via our activities pages.
Can I try all the activities?
Yes – but maybe not all in one visit! Each full day is split into two sessions – a morning activity session and an afternoon session. During a 3 night weekend stay you might try 4 different activities, and across a 4 night midweek stay, there could be 6 different activity sessions. Access to our hydrotherapy pool is included in your stay too, so you can enjoy swimming before or after your activities too.
Funding for adventure breaks
We’re committed to making our activity breaks accessible to as many people as possible, which is why limited bursary funding is available to help reduce the cost. Because our funding is often restricted, we prioritise those who’d most benefit from financial assistance. While we cannot guarantee support for every enquiry, we encourage anyone facing financial barriers to get in touch. Our team is here to guide you through the process and help you explore the options available.
