Calvert Stables are passionate about promoting excellent horse care and improving the welfare of all horses. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build on what you already know, our British Horse Society Horse Owners Course is a fantastic opportunity to learn in a supportive and inspiring environment.

No horse? No problem!
You do not need to own your own horse to take part.

You do not need to sign up for all 6 sessions – however there is a discount if you do.

Course Details

Week 1: 5^th June – Yard Safety,Equine Behaviour and Correct Handling

Week 2: 12^th June – Horse Health and Welfare

Week 3: 19^th June – Feeding and Nutrition

Week 4: 26^th June – Grooming and Equine Anatomy.

Week 5: 3^rd July – Equine Identification

Week 6: 10^th July – Tack and Equipment.

Duration: 6 weeks

When: Friday evenings, 6.30pm – 8.00pm

Cost: £25 per session or book all 6 weeks for £120 to include booklets and certificates
