School Group Lessons

We welcome Schools!

We welcome school groups to Calvert Stables. Whatever the experience or ability mix of your group, our calm ponies and experienced, qualified instructors love to have schools join us for one-off taster sessions or weekly lessons.

It is well-established that simply being in the company of horses is a rewarding experience providing a boost to emotional well-being and mental health.

What’s included?

Well – everything you’d expect:

  • Available during term time – Tuesday to Friday
  • We tailor your sessions your school groups – from tacking up and pony care to riding out and carriage driving – suitable for all abilities and experience levels
  • Option to work towards RDA and BHS certificates
  • Please note there is a weight limit of 12 stone per rider
  • Prices start from £15 per rider for a 45 minute session
